MURPHY (née O’Shea), Fuhir, Castletownbere and formerly of Cleandra, Ardgroom, Beara, Co.Cork on the 8th October 2024 peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in Bantry General Hospital surrounded by her loving family, RITA. Predeceased by her daughter Joanne, parents Denny and Mary, brothers Denis, Nealie and sister Anne. Beloved mother of David, Mark, Michael, Vincent, Noel, Helen and Sabrina. Sadly missed by her children’s father Timmy, her sons in law Seamus and Owen, daughters in law Teresa and Tracey and all her grandchildren that she loved so much. Deeply mourned by her brothers Martin and Johnny, sisters Mary Ann, Josie, Sheila, Theresa and Helen, her brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Thursday (10th) from 5pm - 7pm followed by removal to Helen’s home, HOUSE PRIVATE. Requiem mass will take place in The Church Of The Resurrection, Ardgroom at 11am on Friday (11th) followed by burial in Gortnabulliga Cemetery. Link to view funeral mass below. Funeral cortège will leave Helen’s Home at approximately 10.15am.
