The death has occurred of
Rita MURPHY
(née Candon)
Peacefully, aged 90 years, after an illness bravely borne in the loving care of her family, friends and staff of the Elm Ward, Connolly Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Chris, very dearly loved mother of Bernie and Colette, doting Nana of Brontë, Persephonae and Demelza and the late Ethan and loving sister of Nellie, Frank and the late Mona, Jimmy and Joe. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Lee, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Joyce, nephews, nieces, relatives, carers, neighbours, friends and staff at the Oakwood Medical Centre.
Reposing at her home from 5pm to 8pm on Tuesday evening, Jan 22nd. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, Jan 23rd, at 11am at the Church of Our Lady Mother of The Church, Beechpark Lawn, Castleknock, followed by burial in the nearby Castleknock Churchyard. Floral tributes and flowers are welcome but with no lilies please.
