In her 91st year,
St. Brendan’s Road, Portumna and originally Nogra, Kinvara Co Galway,
April 21st 2025,
peacefully in the wonderful care of Portumna Retirement Village.

Beloved wife of the late Brendan, and much loved mother of Kevin, Declan, Margaret, Brendan, Brian and Séan.

Predeceased by her siblings, Mauréen, Colm, Tommy Joe, Bridie, Michéal and Frances, Rita will be sadly missed by her daughter and sons, sister Philomena, brothers Paddy and Anthony, daughters in law Ingrid, Mags, Marcella, Marie, Davina, son in law Johnnie, her 18 wonderful grandchildren, Stephanie, Olivia, Sorcha, Meghan, Jack, Sabhbh, Cathal, Shauna, Ronan, Ruth, Aoife, Aoibhínn, Conor, Leah, Pauric, Eamon, Cara and Colm, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Dignity Funeral Home (H53AY18), on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village, on Wednesday 23rd April from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral cortége will arrive to St Brigid’s Church, Portumna ,Thursday 24th at 10:45 for funeral Mass and celebration of her life at 11am. The Mass will be live streamed on the following link
The funeral will continue after Mass
for burial at Calvary Cemetery..
