Rita passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, 16th July 2025, in her 85th year, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved and devoted wife of David, cherished and caring mother to Mary, Barry, Carol and Leonard, and adored nana to her treasured grandchildren Jordan, Leah, Cara, Ronan, Sive, Sean and Cian. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her dear brother Billy, son-in-law Alan, daughter-in-law Martina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends, especially her dearest friends Kay and Nancy. Predeceased by her loving parents Mary and Thomas Keane, her much-loved sisters Bernie, Noreen, Sally, Betty, brothers Thomas, Danny and sister-in-law Irene and dearest friend Bridie.

May Rita's gentle, generous soul rest in peace.

Rita will repose at Mc Mahon's Funeral Home, Shannon on Saturday (July 19th) from 4.30pm to 6.00pm. Arriving for Funeral Mass in Ss. John & Paul's Church, Shannon Sunday (July 20th) at 2:30pm followed by burial in Illaunmanagh Cemetery, Shannon.
