Rita O'Gara
(née Nolan)
Rita O'Gara (née Nolan) (Navan Road, Dublin 7 and late of Glenealy, Co. Wicklow) passed away peacefully on 6th January 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff at Rathborne Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Tommy, children Mary, Thomas, Martin, Geraldine, John, Rita and Bridie, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 from 4pm to 7pm Friday evening. Rita’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning at 10am in the Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
