O’Neill (née Walsh) Rita (Rasher), 29th June 2025 (The Coombe); peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. James’ Hospital. Beloved wife of Shay, loving mam of Owen, Imelda, Tracey, Amanda and Gillian, adored nan to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished sister of Betty and the late Sue, Rosie, Joe, Eddie and Dessie.

 

Rita will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons-in-law Ian, Alan and Pedro, daughter-in-law Claudia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Rita’s gentle soul rest in peace

 

Reposing at her home on Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in Church of St. Nicholas of Myra, Francis Street followed by Cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery at 12.15pm.
