Rita O’Neill (née Traynor), Bellaney, Castlepollard Co.Westmeath.

Peacefully at her home on the 10th March 2024 surrounded by her loving family with the assistance of Palliative care following a long illness.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Noel, her parents, brothers & sister. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters & sons in law Sinéad (Tommy Fitzpatrick), Níamh (Alan Brady), Aisling (Christy Brady), Caríosa (Darren Fagan) & Clodagh (Derek Cheevers), her grandchildren Cian, Dylan, Saoirse, Leah, Shane, Ushnagh, Rhys, Luke, Clíodhna, Kerys, Muirne, Béibhínn, Kaidan, Callie & Síomha, extended family, neighbours & friends.

May Rita Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home in Bellaney, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath, N91 K838 on Tuesday 12th March from 4pm with prayers at 9pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday 13th March in St. Mary’s Church, Collinstown at 11am followed by burial in Collinstown cemetery.

The family would like to thank all the doctors & staff in Coole Surgery especially Pat & Claire Cullen, all the staff in Barrys Pharmacy especially Aoife who went above and beyond, paramedics, Dr. Sheehy & his team, all the staff in the emergency department, Medical 1&2 in Mullingar Regional Hospital, Palliative Care, Castlepollard Fire Service, all her carers, friends & family. A very special thanks to our neighbour Sandra who was a huge help over the last few days.
