O’SULLIVAN (13 Assumption Place, Clonakilty): on May 12th 2021 peacefully in the presence of her family and in the excellent care of the nurses and staff of An Ghráig at Clonakilty Community Hospital. RITA (nee Downey) beloved wife of the late Denny, much loved mother of Jim and Denis, sister of the late Tim and Paddy. Lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters-in-law Rosie (Coughlan) and Eileen (Grace), grandchildren James, Colm, Deirdre and Grace, sister Mary (Cullinane), nieces Mairéad and Carol, nephew John, nephews-in-law, nieces-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Under HSE and Government Guidelines a private Funeral will take place. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Clonakilty Community Hospital. If you would like to view the Requiem Mass, this will be livestreamed on Saturday, May 15th 2021, at 12 noon on www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live

Rest In Peace

Rita’s Funeral Cortege will leave O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Saturday, May 15th 2021, at 11.15am proceeding along Oliver Plunkett Street, Patrick Street, Assumption Place, McCurtain Hill, Pearse Street and onwards to Clonakilty Parish Church for a private Requiem Mass and afterwards for a private Burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty. Please adhere to Government Guidelines on social distancing if standing along the route.
