Rita Shanahan (née O’Connor), Shanahan’s Bar, Mungret, Co. Limerick.
November 10th 2025 peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, surrounded by her loving family.
Wife of the late Eddie. Dearly loved mother of Mary, Edwina, Thomas and Jim. Sadly missed by her loving son-in-law Declan, daughter-in-law Jean, her adored grandchildren Grace, Jim, Hannah, Ada, Eugene, John and Phoebe, sisters-in-law Nora, Joan and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brother Jim, sisters Maura (Sr. Ambrose) and Kathleen (Madden).
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Saint Oliver Plunkett Church, Mungret on Thursday (13th November) from 5.30pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Friday (14th November) at 11.30am followed by burial in KIlkeedy Cemetery.
