The death has occurred of Rita Stewart (née O’Toole), Formerly of Bachelors Walk, Ashbourne, Co. Meath and Inishturk, Co. Galway.

Peacefully at Dunshaughlin Care Home, Co. Meath surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jimmy, her parents Edward and Agnes, her sisters Mary, Delia, Nora, Teresa, Lena and her brothers Patrick, Martin and John. Rita will be sadly missed by her loving family John (Bernie), James (Kookai), Eamon (Lindsay), Patrick (Jamie), Jacqueline (Muiris) and Michael (Eimear), her adored grandchildren Jasmine, Ben, Jamie, Orla, Freya, Ava, Jimmy, Evan, Lauren, Siún and Aoife, great-grandchildren Elle, Ruby and Cora, her brother Eddie, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Hannah, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Ashbourne (A84CX52) on Wednesday evening from 5pm with removal at 7:15pm to The Church Of The Immaculate Conception, Ashbourne. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am (Livestream) followed by burial in St. Declan's Cemetery, Ashbourne.

Rita’s family would like to express their gratitude to all of the staff at Dunshaughlin Care Home, and previously at Heatherfield Nursing Home, for the care and compassion shown towards Rita during her time in both nursing homes.
