The death has occurred of
Rita Sweeney
(née Mulligan)
Sweeney (née Mulligan) Rita, (Stillorgan and Dalkey) January 18th, 2024. Peacefully after a brief illness and surrounded by family at St. John’s House, Merrion Road, Dublin 4. Beloved wife of the late Patrick; much loved mother to David, Paul, Roseanne and Niall and sister to late Betty. Rita will also be remembered with love by her daughters-in-law Uyen and Nadia, cherished grandchildren Oliver, Chloe, Aidan, Elin, Yannik and Lia, friends and neighbours.
May she rest in peace.
Rita will be reposing on Monday, January 22nd, from 3.30pm to 4.30pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28). Funeral Mass on Tuesday (January 23rd) at 10am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
