Rita Tyrrell
(née Duffy)

On Thursday evening, Rita passed away peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at University Hospital, Galway. Dearly beloved wife of the late Liam and much adored mother of Mary (Mulholland), John, Carmel (Langford), Joseph and the late Liam Óg. Very sadly missed by her daughters and sons, her sons-in-law Alan and Richard, daughters-in-law Éadaoin and Paula, her cherished grandchildren Jack, Harry and Tom Mulholland, Mollie and Josh Tyrrell, Sam and Abigail Langford, Ailbhe and Liam Tyrrell, her brothers Joe, Noel, John and Gerry and sisters Pamela and Angela , the extended Tyrrell and Duffy families and many great neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Rita on Saturday, 30th January, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Jesuit Church, Sea Road.  The attendance within the church, outside the church door and at the cemetery will be limited to 10 people in respect of current government guidelines on community gatherings.  Details of live streaming  https://youtu.be/pkphxUv-uGo
