Whelan Rita nee Weekes (2nd May 2022) (Clondalkin and late of Ballyfermot) peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of all the staff of St. Catherine’s Ward, Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross; beloved wife of David and much loved mother of Sabrina, Natalie, Nicola and Gavin; sadly missed by her loving husband, children, sons-in-law Aidan, Trevor and Peter, her adored 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sister and best friend Ada, brothers Noel, Colm, Arthur and Davey, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village, on Wednesday from 7 pm to 8.30 pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10am in Church of the Transfiguration, Bawnogue followed by Cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.
