Young (née Martin) Rita, 7th July 2021 (Raphoe Road & formerly of Clonard Road); peacefully in the care of the staff of Queen of Peace Nursing Home; beloved wife of the late Eddie, loving mother of Damien, Laura and Alison, much loved nana of Emma- Jane, Carolyn, Liam, Tom, Fiona, Mark and Megan, great-grandchildren Lucy, Elsie, Finn, Katie and Sadie and beloved sister to Nancy and Joan and her predeceased brothers and sisters. Sadly, missed by her loving son, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, brother-in-law, extended family, friends and neighbours.

In line with Government/HSE advice and to ensure the safety of all Rita’s family and friends, a small private funeral will be held. Her family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew Rita would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in her memory. Messages of support can be left in the online condolence book below.
