Bertie passed away on 12th March 2026, peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Bertie will sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Caroline and Rosemarie, son William, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren Darren, Emma, Aoife, Becky, Grace, Jasmine, Noah, Eric and Charlotte, sister Violet, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by his wives Alice and Kathleen, his brothers Francis, Thomas, Billy, Sam, Josh, Albert,George and his sister Susan

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Friday (13th March) from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Service at 12noon in St. Lazerian's Cathedral, Old Leighlin. Interment afterwards in Mothel Parish graveyard, Coolcullen (R93W253).
