Robert (Bob) McCarthy

Robert (Bob) McCarthy (Kilternan and formerly of Crumlin) – September 20th, 2025. Passed away suddenly at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of Una (née Duignan), cherished father of Ray, Declan and Dale, much-loved brother of Margaret, Joe, Paddy, Bernie, Roseleen, Kathleen and the late Jim, Lilly, Marie and Eileen.

Sadly missed and forever remembered by all his loving family, daughters-in-law Tracy, Deirdre and Emma, his adored grandchildren Scott, Conan, Abigail, Oisín, Cathal, Ali and Matthew, brothers-in-Iaw, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Bob will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Friday evening (Sept 26th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning (Sept 27th) to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village arriving for 11am Mass, followed thereafter to Glencullen Cemetery.
