Robert (Bobby) Carroll

The death has occurred of Robert (Bobby) Carroll – Bellview Heights, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – January 4th, 2026 (suddenly but peacefully) at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his dear daughter Sandra, parents Bob and Cissy and his sister Antoinette.

Bobby will be very sadly missed and always remembered by his loving wife and best friend Evelyn, his sons Mark, Stefan, Robbie and Alan, his daughters Sharon and Aoife, son-in-law Tony, daughters-in-laws Kara, Deirdre, Laura and Lorraine, his adored 25 grandchildren, brothers Gerry, Tom and Peter, sisters Marie and Olive, sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, kind neighbours and his many friends and former colleagues of St Loman’s Hospital.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home on Tuesday January 6th from 4 pm concluding with prayers at 6 pm. Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm. Bobby’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday January 7th at 11 am and may be viewed on the live webcam below. Cremation will take place in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan at 1.45 pm and may be viewed on the live webcam below using password Crem7W.
