Robert (Bobby) DOYLE

DOYLE - Robert (Bobby), 24th of August 2021, late of O’Connell Gardens, Sandymount, formerly of Dublin Fire Brigade; peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and friends, in the kind care of the staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Veronica, loving Dad of Jeff, Jennifer and Lorraine and much loved Grandad of Isabella, Jack, Isaac and Olivia. He will be greatly missed by his heartbroken family, his daughter-in-law Rhonda, his son-in-law Kevin, his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours, running friends and colleagues in Dublin Fire Brigade. Sincere thanks to family, friends and all who supported him through his illness.

In line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held. Robert’s family would ask that over the coming days everyone who knew Robert would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in his memory. Those who cannot attend the Funeral Mass due to the current restrictions may view the Mass online on Tuesday (31st Aug) at 11am here:
