Robert (Bobby) Owen

The death has occurred of Robert (Bobby) Owen, Carrabarra Island, Smithborough, Co. Monaghan. Bobby passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and the wonderful staff at Willowbridge Ward, Monaghan General Hospital, Friday 27th December 2024.

Predeceased by his parents Robert and Elizabeth and his loving sister Margaret.

Much loved husband of Christina and cherished father of Paula (Henry Goddard, Glaslough), Frank (Lindsay, London), Steven (Veronica, USA) and Susan (Andy Worboys, Australia). Bobby will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughters, sons, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, adored grandchildren, Ben, James, Eoin, Turner, Erin and Noah, sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved Bobby.

Bobby will repose at his residence Carrabarra Island, Smithborough, H18KX83, Sunday 29th and Monday 30th from 5pm to 8pm.

Bobby's Funeral procession will leave his residence at 10.30am on Tuesday, 31st December, to arrive at St Mary's Chapel, Magherarney, Smithborough for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Bobby's funeral mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/smithborough. Family time on Tuesday morning Please.
