Robert (Bobby) Whelan

Whelan Robert (Bobby), 24th February 2024, Arthur Griffith Park, Lucan and formerly of Dublin Corporation; peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of Lucan Lodge Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Pattie, loving dad of Sandra, Suzanne and Eric and much-loved grandad of Kellie, Aoife, Aoibheann, Ailbhe and the late Jake (recently deceased).

Bobby will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, sons-in-law Ian and Mike, grandchildren, great grandsons Ollie and Harry, sisters Dorothy, Eileen and Shuna, brother Seán, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Bobby rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Thursday (29th February 2024) from 5pm – 7pm.

A Celebration of Bobby’s life will take place in Newlands Cross Crematorium on Friday afternoon (1st March 2024) at 1pm.
