The death has occurred of
Robert GILLESPIE
Robert Gillespie, peacefully on 3rd June 2024 after a short illness under the great care of all the medical and nursing staff at Beacon Hospital. Much loved husband of Lindsay, loving father of Trevor, Fiona and Alison. Devoted and proud Dadad of Lara, Saul, Bobbi, Cody, Polly, Pippa and Reuben. Dearest father-in-law of Patrick and Mark and Trevor’s partner Claire. Beloved brother of Arthur and his pre-deceased sister Carol and brother John. Loving son of the late Norman and Eileen Gillespie. Robert will be sadly missed by his brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family and amazing friends.
Reposing at home in Shetland, Ballyhide, Carlow, R93 V0C8 on Wednesday, 5th June, from 4pm - 7.30pm concluding with prayers. Funeral service on Thursday, 6th June, at 3pm at St Mary’s, Church St, Carlow, R93YW77. Cremation (family only) on Friday.
No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Éist Cancer Support Centre, Carlow.
