Robert Newsome

The death has taken place of Robert Newsome, The Lodge, Barrettstown, Knocktopher and formerly of Rathnew, Co. Wicklow, peacefully at University Hospital Waterford. 27th November 2023. Pre deceased by his parents Paddy and Agnes Newsome, sister Phyllis and brother Tom. Sadly missed by his wife Joan, son Robin, daughter Natasha, grandchildren Shelby, Theo, Fiacra, Finaly, Denzel and Zara, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his residence from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday pausing for rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem mass on Thursday at 12am noon in the Carmelite Friary, Knocktopher, Co. Kilkenny followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Knocktopher Co. Kilkenny. A message of sympathy can be left by using the Condolence option below.
