The death has occurred of Robert (Rob) Eckel, Foilakilla, Bantry, Co. Cork. On October 5, 2021, Robert better known as Rob, passed peacefully in the excellent care of doctors nurses and staff of the palliative care unit at Bantry General Hospital, beloved husband of Lisa, much loved father of Douglas, Nicola, Vicky and Tasha, sadly missed by his loving wife, children, daughter-in-law Liz, grandson Dean, brothers Howard and Geoffrey, sisters-in-law Marilyn and Angela, kind neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry, on Monday October 11, from 6pm to 7pm, funeral service at the Bantry Christian Fellowship Church, The Quay, Bantry, P75 RW18 on Tuesday October 12, at 1:30pm (live streamed on https://www.corklivestream.com/funerals) followed by burial at the Abbey Cemetery, Bantry. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Bantry Hospice Project, Newtown, Bantry.
