Robert (Robbie) O'Byrne

O’Byrne Robert (Robbie), 12th October 2025, Kingswood and formerly of Lansdowne Valley (Drimnagh), Captain’s Road (Crumlin) and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital (Crumlin), and more recently, in the wonderful care of the staff of Mary Aikenhead Ward, Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross. Robert passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long and hard battle with Dementia.

Beloved husband of Charis, loving dad of Charis, Rob and the late Seamus and much-loved grandad of Chloe, Jodie, Rebecca, Ricky and Isabelle. Robert will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, son-in-law Alan, Seamus’s partner Sharon, grandchildren, great granddaughter Shaylah, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10am in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village, followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
