Robert (Robbie) Whelan

WHELAN, Robert (Robbie) (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of The Liberties, Dublin) September 4th., 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Beloved husband of the late Peggy and much-loved and devoted father of Jason and Natasha; Robbie will be sadly missed by his loving son, daughter, grandchildren Ciara, Cathal and Seán, son-in-law Mick, daughter-in-law Denise, extended family, relatives, friends and carers.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at home on Monday evening (September 8th) between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (September 9th) to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the carers at Bluebird Care who enabled the family to keep Robbie at home.
