Robert Shanahan,

late of Delvin Park, Ferbane.

Robert died on January 10th 2026, unexpectedly. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Louis and Sylvia and sister Maria.

Robert will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving brothers and sisters, John, Heidi, Tanya, Claudine and Louis, sister-in-law Sharon, nephews, Darren and Ryan, nieces, Leanne and Jennifer, extended family, and his friends and staff of the Muiríosa Foundation.

Grant Robert Eternal Rest and Peace

Robert will repose at Grennan's Funeral Home, Ferbane (R42 HW25) on Wednesday evening (Jan. 14th) from 5pm to 6.30pm.

(Additional parking available in the adjoining Church car park)

Robert's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (Jan. 15th) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane at 11am, and may be viewed on http://www.ferbaneparish.ie. He will be laid to rest afterwards in Clonmacnois.
