Roderick (Rod) Cassidy

Peacefully, in the care of the wonderful staff of Simpsons Hospital Dundrum. Beloved husband of the late Maírín and loving brother of his late sister Pat Seager. Rod will be greatly missed and remembered with love by his partner Susan Brennan, his sons Ian and Andrew, daughters-in-law Susan and Emily, grandchildren Jane, Emma, Ellen, Joe and Thomas, brother Niall, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, former colleagues at the Irish Press and Sunday World, and his many friends.

 

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Thursday (14th December) from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral service, in celebration of Rod’s life, will take place on Friday morning (15th December) at 10am in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross followed by cremation.
