Roger McSweeney

McSweeney (Ballincollig and formerly of Townsend Place, Greenmount, Cork) On July 13th 2025, peacefully at his home, Roger, beloved husband of the late Breda, loving father of Roy, Jim, Brendan, Ger and the late Aidan, and brother of John, Mary and the late Margaret and Cal. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters-in-law Finola and Lucy, grandchildren Aoife, Denise, Sinead, Jason, Aidan, Robbie, Ciara, David, Emily and Darragh, great-grandchildren James, Jake, Roger, Saoirse, Aidan and Seamus, brother, sister, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends in the St Mary and St John's Church Choir and the Lee Valley Golf Club.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Wednesday (16th July) from 6pm with prayers at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (17th) at 11am in the Church of St Mary and St John, Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig . Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice
