Ronald (Ron) Kelly

On March 11th, 2024, RONALD (RON) passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Colleen (née Tresnan), dear father of Mark, loving grandfather of Joanne, Karen and Robert and great-grandfather of Sammy. Sadly, missed by his loving family, stepsons Daniel and James, stepdaughters Geraldine and Nicola and their families and friends.

May he rest in peace.

The Kelly family would like to thank the following, Dr Gitte Wieneke and the staff at Marino Medical, the Public Health Nurses, his Home Help team and the West Cork Palliative Care team for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Ronald, it is very much appreciated by them. Also, a very special thank you to Patrick and Mary McCarthy who have given unconditional support to the entire family throughout which has helped to bear the burden with no thoughts for their own comforts.

Reposing at Coakley's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Tuesday, March 19th, from 4pm with vigil prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, March 20th, at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Church, Durrus (to view live stream please click here) followed by burial in the adjoining New Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to West Cork Palliative Care, Primary Care Centre, Dromleigh South, Bantry.
