Ronald (Ron) McCarten

McCarten (Roselawn Road, Castleknock and formerly of Seaton, Workington, England and late of St. Vincent’s College, Castleknock and Ex Irish Rugby International) January 29th. 2021, (peacefully), at Elm Green Nursing Home, Castleknock. Ronald (Ron), beloved husband of Edna and dear father of James, Philip and the late Elizabeth. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter-in-law Kathleen, James’s partner Maria, brother Gerard, sisters Margaret and Claire, relatives and friends.

Due to Government advice and restrictions regarding public gatherings a private family funeral will take place. 

For those who would like to pay their respects to Ronald, his cortege will leave from his residence at 11.00am on Wednesday morning, 3rd. February to travel along Roselawn Road, on to Castleknock Road and on to College Road and into Castleknock College for a Private Family Mass.
