Ronald (Ronnie) O'Gorman

It is with deep sadness that the O’Gorman family share the news of Ronnie O’Gorman’s death, peacefully, surrounded by all his children, sons-in-law and friends at home on Thursday, 23 May, 2024.

Deeply loved and very sadly missed by his daughters and son; Sadhbh, Sian, Anna Joy, Ben and Sally, brother Phillip and sister Zan.

A very proud grandfather to Ruby, Iseult, Beatrice and Ezra who cherished him dearly. He will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law Manus and Paddy, the extended O’Gorman family, all of the staff at the Galway Advertiser, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway, on Monday, 27 May from 4.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated for Ronnie on Tuesday, 28 May on arrival at 11 a.m. at the Collegiate Church of St. Nicholas, Lombard Street. Following this Service, Ronnie will be laid to rest in the New cemetery, Bohermore.

and leaving the pain the weariness and the waiting,

you walk forth strong in the paradise of God"
