Ronan Walsh

Walsh, Ronan (Dunboyne, Co. Meath and formerly Sutton, Dublin 13), February 19th., 2026, peacefully, after a long illness, surrounded by his family and friends.

Ronan, a great friend, talented golfer and incorrigible flirt, was sustained through his long illness by his deep love for his wife Elaine, their daughter Alison and son Stephen. They were his centre and all he needed at the end of his life. He is deeply mourned by his family, sister Orla, brother Daragh, best friend Ronan Kilroy, mother-in-law Chris, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Dunboyne on Monday evening (February 23rd) between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Tuesday afternoon (February 24th) to Glasnevin Crematorium for a celebration of Ronan’s life at 2:20pm.
