The death has occurred of
RONNIE (Ronald) BARRETT
RONNIE BARRETT (Ronald). Late of Ballynona South, Midleton, Co. Cork.
Ronnie, passed away peacefully, on February 10th, 2026, in the tender loving care of the wonderful staff at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, Cork.
Beloved husband of the late Maura, son of the late Pat and Olive, father of the late Antoinette (Tattan), father-in-law of the late Jerry Buckley and Michael Burke, brother of the late Ursula.
A cherished father who will be lovingly remembered by his children and their spouses/partners; Margaret (Buckley), Sandra and Eddie Hennessy, Tony and Kaye, Paddy Tattan, Jennifer and Mark Sheehan, Fiona and Peter Kelly, Ron and Theresa, Trevor and Niamh, Ken and Sandra, Leroy and Edwina, Louise and Cathal.
Sadly missed also by his brothers Paddy and Oliver, sisters Mary, Terri, Dolores, Trisha and Rose, his 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives, neighbours, home carers and friends.

Ronnie will repose at Hyde's Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, P25VW02, on Friday 13th from 5pm–6.30pm.
Reception into the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Saturday 14th for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The Mass will also be available to view LIVE ONLY on www.midletonparish.ie
The family would like to acknowledge and give thanks to Dr. Gorman and his team at Fermoy Medical Practice for all of their care given to Ronnie over many years.
