ROONEY (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and formerly of Cromwellsfort Road, D12) – March 23rd 2026 surrounded by his loving family while in the wonderful kind care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park. Ronnie; dearly beloved husband of Patricia, much loved and devoted father to Karen, Paula and Stephen, son of the late Patrick and Teresa, brother of the late Maree. Sadly missed by his loving wife, children, son-in-law Lar, daughter-in-law Kathy, adoring grandchildren Shauna, Tommy, Shane, Rebecca, Paul, Seán, Liam and Tadhg, brothers Michael and Pat, sister Gay, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends especially his buddies Ned and Christy.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 on Thursday March 26th from 5pm to 7pm all welcome. Removal on Friday March 27th to St. Agnes' Church, Crumlin (D12 KC99) arriving for 10am Requiem Mass.
