Rory Donegan

Donegan, Rory (late of Harold’s Cross) 20th October 2025; passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Devoted father of David and Steven, father-in-law to Nicola and Dani, the proud grandfather of Steven, Amber, David, Emily and Finn, much loved brother of Ann, Una, Josie, Pauline, Olive, Tony, Noeleen, Brian and Cora. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Martin and siblings Jackie and Marie.

 

Rory will be greatly missed by his heartbroken sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers in-law, sisters-in-law, his children’s mother Annette, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 

A man of quiet strength and gentle nature, Rory found great fulfilment as a mathematics teacher, he deeply cherished his family.

 

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Thursday (23rd October) from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (24th October) at 10am in St. Bernadette’s Church, Clogher Road followed by Burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery arriving for approximately 11.30am
