Rory Keane

Rory Keane, Carrigaline, Co. Cork and formerly of Shamrock Villas, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 10th October 2025. Peacefully at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harolds Cross, Dublin surrounded by his loving family aged 72 years.

Rory is predeceased by his parents Noel and Marie Keane and Briege McGinley. Dearly loved dad to Deirdre and Gráinne. Sadly missed by his daughters, sons-in-law Roger Butler and Scott Orr, his adored grandchildren Reilly and Darby, brothers Niall, Ciarán, Dermot and Conor, sisters Emer (Dáibhis), Ornaith and Niamh (Collins), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and a wonderful circle of close friends whom he cherished deeply especially those at Cork Sub Aqua Club.

Reposing at the home of his sister Niamh, Shamrock Villas, Drogheda A92 YR0A on Monday from 2pm until 7pm.

Rory's Cremation will take place on Tuesday in Glasnevin Crematorium, Dublin (D11 XA32). All are welcome at 1.30pm. Cremation can also be viewed live on www.dctrust.ie/location/glasnevin/chapel-webstreaming.html
