Rory McAteer

Rory McAteer, Spring Hill, Carrigtwohill & formerly of Newry, Co. Armagh, on October 3rd 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Cork University Hospital. Rory, (formerly of McAteer Transport) beloved husband of Eileen, dear father of Jim, Raymond, Michael and the late Martin, Leo, Paul & Brendan. Much loved grandad of Fiona and Ruairí.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughter-in-law Ouy, brothers Eamon and Eoin, sister Geraldine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May Rory Rest In Peace

Rory will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton P25X382 on Sunday (5th) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Reception into St. Mary’s Church, Carrigtwohill on Monday for 2 p.m. Funeral Mass followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
