On Sunday, 14th. December 2025, Rose slipped away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff on Our Lady of Knock Ward at the Galway Clinic. Pre deceased by her siblings Jackie, Michael, Mai and Des Mannion.
Sadly missed by her beloved husband of 58 years Adrian and by her loving family Elaine and Ray Cunningham, Kendra and Jason Cassidy, Evan and Mary Ryder and her six adored grandchildren Ruth, Reah, Mark, Emma, Lisa and Sophie, whom she cherished dearly. Fondly remembered and mourned also by her brother Jimmy Mannion and sister Joan Heneghan, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
May her kind and gentle soul, rest in peace
Funeral Arrangements
Tuesday, 16th December 2025
Rose will lie in repose at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, 17th December 2025
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Rose on arrival to St. Mary's Church, Claddagh at 11am. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. This Mass will be live streamed here : https://www.dominicanscladdagh.ie/live-webcam/
