Blackburn (née Plunkett) Rose (11th October 2025) late of Station Road, Clondalkin and formerly of Strawberry Beds (peacefully) in the wonderful care of staff in The Meadowview Unit, Peamount Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

 

Predeceased by her parents, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and recently deceased sister Kathleen. Beloved wife of the late John and loving mother of Shaun, Maria, Paschal, Damien and the late Kevin. Sadly missed by her sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Tonya and Michelle, Shaun’s partner Jean and Maria’s partner Pat, grandchildren Rachel, Andrew, Annabelle and Philippa, nephews in particular Sean, nieces in particular Collette and Kay, relatives, neighbours in particular Mags and friends.

 

May her gentle soul rest in peace

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road on Tuesday from 3pm to 4.30pm with removal to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin Village arriving at 5pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery arriving for 1pm.
