Rose Byrne (née McCarra), of Dunboyne, Co. Meath and formerly of Greystones, Co. Wicklow and Galway, died peacefully on Sunday, 27th December, 2020, at the residence of her daughter Anna. Beloved wife of the late Brendan. Remembered with love by her children Lorcan, Colette, Anna, Eoin, Conor, Elaine, Adrian, Ronan and Marie-Thérèse, spouses and partners Celine, Michael, Niamh, Ann, Bob, Clodagh, Carol and Robert, brothers Seamus and Padraig, her adored grandchildren Sinéad, Aisling, Domhnall, Dmitri, Daniel, Deanna, Fiona, Dan, Tom, Jennie, Emmet, Peadar, Finn, Aidan, Aoife, Paul, Seán, Aoibheann, Kevin, Emer and Fintan, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Seán, Mícheál and Gus, sister Alice (Schillinger), daughter-in-law Breda (McGlacken) and grandson Govan.

On Thursday (31st December), the funeral cortège will pass Rose’s home in Willow Park, Mill Farm, Dunboyne at 10.45am before arriving for a private family Funeral Mass at 11.00am in the Church of Ss. Peter and Paul, Dunboyne. This may be viewed online at dunboynekilbrideparish.org. Family flowers only please.
