Rose DOWNEY
(née Cunneen)
Rose passed away peacefully, after a long illness, in the loving care of Corbally House Nursing Home.
Beloved & devoted wife of 66 years to Paddy, dearest mother of Pat, Mike, Rose (O’Donovan) & Tony and sister of Paddy & the late Michael.
Sadly missed by her loving husband & children, daughters-in-law Helen & Anne, son-in-law Brendan, her adored grandchildren Ciara, Brian, Michelle, David, Ian & Mark, their partners Ciaran, Nikka, Shane, Ellen, Jill & Lorna, her great-grandchildren Lily, Luke & Harry, extended family, kind neighbours & friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing in Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Friday, 6th January, from 5pm to 6:30pm. Funeral will arrive at St. Nicholas’ Church, Westbury for Requiem Mass on Saturday, 7th January, at 10:30am, streamed live here. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.
Family flowers only; donations, if desired, to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
