Rose Dullaghan
Rose Dullaghan (née Hamill) Rockville, Rock Road, Blackrock, Co. Louth. Rose passed away peacefully on 16th February, 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Beloved wife of the late Gerry (March 2020), cherished mother of Catriona, Paul and Rosemary, and much-loved granny to Greta, Zac, Kaiya, Blake, Kael, Carla, Zara Isabellea and Nathan. Sister of Eileen Matthews and Elizabeth Duff, predeceased by her sisters Breege Lally, May Boyle and Kathleen Cotter. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken daughters, son, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Trudy, sons-in-law Garry and Adrian brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.

Rose will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street (A91 XW66) on Wednesday from 4.30pm until 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.30am to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock (A91 DD56), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown (A91 XH75).
