O’DOWD - Nee FITZSIMONS; Proprietor of “The West End Bar”, West Street, Lismore, Co. Waterford and formerly of Kilbrook, Co. Kildare. On 7th July 2025, peacefully, at her home surrounded by her loving family, Rose, (nee Fitzsimons), loving mother of the late Helen and John, sister of the late Bridie, Kit, Sheila and Paddy.

Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Jean and Martina, sons Eamonn, Brendan, Dominic and Oliver, sisters Sr. Rose (Alice, USA) and Marie (Canada), brothers Eamonn and Thomas Fitzsimons, daughters-in-law Martina and Val, grandchildren Stephen, Josh, Dominic, Annabel, Aoife, Keith, Kiara, Carol, Alex, Abigail. Esme, Clara, Robyn, Ryan, Charlie, Ruby and Rosabella, great-grandchildren Kane, Archie, Leon, Joni, Drew, George and Adam, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass on Saturday morning July 12th at 11.00am.

Followed by burial in St. Carthage’s Cemetery, Lismore.
