Rose O’Sullivan (née Fahy), 28 Westgate, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Gurtymadden, Co. Galway, passed away surrounded by her family on December 8th, 2025, after a short illness, in the care of The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore
Predeceased by her parents Pat and Theresa. Rose will be sadly missed by her loving family; husband John Joe, daughters Mary (Cleary), Rosaleen and Melissa, son-in-law Cuimin, Rosaleen’s partner John, her beloved grandchildren; Jack, Mariesa, Dervela and Evan, her great-granddaughter Fiadh, brother Oliver, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends .
May her kind & gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home , Birr (R42YF7) on Tuesday evening from 5pm.-7pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday at 2pm for Funeral Mass in St. Brendan’s Church, Birr at 2.30pm followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
