The death has occurred of Rose (Rosarie) Bennett on the 4t February 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of The Mercy University Hospital Cork.

Rose is predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, her parents Leo and Anastasia O'Connor, her brother's John, Leo, Paddy and her sisters Kathleen, Maura and Ann.

Sadly missed by her loving children Rosemarie, Catherine (Dwyer), Penny (Meade), Michael, Lorraine (Kelly), Ellen and Liam, her sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, great grand-daughter, sisters in law Margaret O'Connor and Breda Doyle, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Rose Rest in Peace.

Reposing in T Wallis and Sons Funeral Home Riverside Way, Midleton, Co Cork, P25YR22 from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday 5th February 2026.

Reception into St. Mary's Church, Carrigtwohill, Co Cork, on Friday 6th February 2026 for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Cremation service will take place at 1pm in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy Co Cork P43DD71.
