It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rose on January 6th at home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, her brothers Kevin, Mel and John, her sister Rita and her parents John and Margaret.

Rose will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, John, Seamus, Anna, Eithne, Fintan, Monica and Martin. Her sons in law Philip Carron, Paul Donohoe and John Dunne, daughter in law Emer (O’Connor) and her adored granddaughters Olivia, Niamh, Eleanor, Ruth, Orla, Ciara and Ailish. Her sisters Anna (McGerr), Bernadette (Dugdale), Mairead (O’Flaherty) and Sheila, her brother Pat, her sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, and her wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing in St. Mary’s Church, Edgeworthstown on Wednesday 7th January from 5pm with prayers at 8pm. Funeral mass on Thursday at 12pm followed by burial in Aughafin Cemetery.

The family wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the staff at St John’s ward in St James Hospital and the nurses and carers who looked after Rose so attentively at home.
