The death has occurred of Rose Ryan (née O Mahony), The Laurels, Oldcastle Road, Virginia, Co. Cavan, and late of Wolfe Tone Street, Limerick City, peacefully at home on the 28th November 2025, following a short illness. Predeceased by her parents, brothers Cyril and Raymond, and sisters Marjorie, Laura and Florence. Deeply regretted by her husband Mossie, MD, Greenbelt Forestry, and children Harriett (Jeremy Hindmarsh), John (Dawn Walsh), and Maurice (Sinead Kelly) and her grandchildren, Ethan, Sebastian, Stella and Raphael, brothers Jack and Tim, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Saturday evening from 5 o’clock until prayers at 8 o’clock. Removal on Sunday afternoon from Matthews Funeral Home arriving to Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia, for Funeral Mass at 2 o’clock, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
