ROSE SWEENEY
(née O' Sullivan)

Sweeney (Wesley, Carrigaline and formerly of Ballydehob) On March 19th 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Cork University Hospital, Rose (nee O' Sullivan), beloved wife of Edmond (Eddie), loving mother of Lorraine, Susan and Anthony and dear sister of Mamie, Philo, Peggy, Joe, Danny and the late P.J.. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Derek and Danny, daughter-in-law Claire, adored grandchildren Ellie, Lucy, Emily, Ben, Harry, Georgie, Ava, Faye and Millie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Forde's Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline on Sunday 22nd March from 4.00pm until 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday 23rd at 2.00pm in the Church of Our Lady and St. John, Carrigaline which will be live streamed on the link below. Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
