The death has occurred of Roseanna Hughes née Rice, Kinnegan, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan peacefully in the care of the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday 27th September 2025.
Predeceased by her daughter Aideen, parents, Patrick and Mary, brothers John, Padraig and Brendan.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her devoted husband Brendan, sons Paul and Conor (Orla), daughters, Angela (Paddy), and Hilary (Michael), 14 cherished grandchildren Nicole, Imogen, Aoibheann, Ciara, Jamie, Melissa, Maebh, Ashleigh, Matthew, Liam, Vivienne, Noah, Christopher and Joey, brother James, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Anna will repose privately among her family neighbours and friends at his home A75 KC66
Family Flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to The Patient Comfort Fund, St. Mary’s Hospital by donation box or care of Hughes Funeral Directors, Castleblayney.
Removal on Saturday afternoon at 1:15 pm arriving for funeral mass at 2pm in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery, where Brendan and Anna will be laid to eternal rest together.
