O’CONNELL (née MULCAHY), ROSEMARY (Ardagh, Union Hall and Blackrock, Cork): On July 16th, peacefully in the tender and loving care of the doctors, nurses, palliative care team and staff of Bantry General Hospital, and in the presence of her loving family. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Michael F. O’Connell and her brother Richard Mulcahy. Much loved mother of Robert, Gillian and Fiona (Jennings).  Deeply regretted by her grieving family, sons-in-law Dominic Carr and Mark Jennings; grandchildren Emily, Marisa, Finn, Maddy, Cillian, Orla, Bridget; sisters Helen Landrigan and Veronica O’Rourke; brother- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

May she rest in peace.  

Rosemary’s funeral will take place in accordance with current Government & H.S.E. guidelines on public gatherings. Reposing at her residence on Sunday, July 18th from 6:00pm to  8:00pm. Given updated regulations, we will be very happy to welcome all fully-vaccinated family, friends and neighbours to Rosemary’s home.  Rosemary’s funeral cortége will leave her residence at 11:20 am (approx.) on Monday, July 19th proceeding to St. Brigid’s Church, Union Hall for private Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s cemetery, Blackrock, Cork arriving approx. 3pm.
